I picked out the Bugs & Blossoms Wall Sticker Kit to test out because last summer I found this adorable ladybug bedroom set for my youngest daughters room at a consignment store. My daughter who is 7 had grown out of the baby room set and wanted something more “grown up”. And a ladybug theme was just the ticket. I am not a really great decorator. In fact, while I like my place to look nice, I am just really frugal and practical when it comes to home decor. I am a big fan of “oops” paint at Home Depot and stalk that section of the store all the time until I find just the right color I need. And that is what I did when it came time to paint my daughters room and I found the perfect shade of green.
Then I called over my oldest daughter (who is going to be 21 soon…where did the time go??) to help put up the wall stickers.

And they went to town picking out just the right spots for each element behind the bed. There were flowers, mushrooms, caterpillars, grasshoppers, dragonflies, ladybugs (of course), blades and “clumps” of grass, and even this cute little snail!

When they were done it was just TOO cute.

The pictures don’t do it justice because I am 1. not a very good photographer and 2. her room is in the basement and there isn’t a whole lot of natural light in there especially because I took the pictures on a cloudy day. But it really is cute and they were so simple to put up. The stickers peel right off the wall so if you move or want to change the decor you can do that easily enough. I lived many years in rentals and these are perfect for decorating in a place where you are not allowed to paint the walls.
